iGEM Special Grant 2023
The power of science and technology to solve current problems is undeniable. The power of brave ideas from young minds is just as relevant today.
Engaging others to be curious and eager to learn about algorithmic and bio-based solutions is a quest in itself. Yet, we saw firsthand how iGEM projects spark curiosity and excitement outside their framework.
iGEM Aachen 2023 stands out, presenting a high level of scientific communication, innovative bio-design and advanced state-of-the-art algorithmic methodology next to their outstanding social impact plan.
Therefore, the iGEM Team Aachen was awarded a special grant from the XOLLX FutureLab to support their goals in pursuing to continue the iGEM tradition at the RWTH Aachen University in 2024 to propel brave ideas.
